Rebecca Floris - Blue Birds & Busy Bees Instructor

Rebecca Floris is a life-long Army kid and wife but calls North Carolina home. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in Peace, War, and Defense in 2000 and has since traveled the world with her husband and two sons. The younger of her sons was a St. George’s student during her last stay in Virginia. Rebecca recently returned to the area from Washington State.
She has experience as a teacher, parent volunteer, and library assistant. She is excited to join the St. George’s staff and provide children with the same positive and enriching experience from which her own son benefitted. During her “off-time,” you’ll find Rebecca shuttling kids to baseball and football, walking her very lazy Labrador Retriever and cheering on her favorite team, the Seattle Seahawks.
